Community Concerts & Other Performance Opportunities

Take part in some of the more informal events and popular outdoor community concerts.

More Performance Opportunities

Harrogate, as an exciting cultural and tourist destination, offers the perfect setting for England’s oldest music festival. The beautiful historic spa town is made up of wide tree lined streets which surround impressive Georgian architecture. The Festival offers a variety of performances opportunities at historic venues in the Harrogate and surrounding districts as well as some more impromptu events. These venues include the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Harlow Carr, Newby Hall and Harewood House among others.

Newby Hall

Ripley Village

The beautiful 17th Century building was built under the guidance of Sir Christopher Wren after the original manor house was demolished in the 1690s. During Easter week visitors to Newby Hall have the pleasure of listening to participating choirs and bands who have the privilege of playing in the extensive award winning gardens.
The village of Ripley is very pretty and has a 700 year old Castle. The central feature is a cobbled market square, village stocks, war memorial and market cross. The ensembles will play in the centre of the village, on a cobbled area outdoors. We will play a variety of ensembles all afternoon in what we are referring to as a ‘mini-Festival’
