Vale of Atholl Junior Pipe Band
The Vale of Atholl Junior Pipe Band is based in Pitlochry in the Heart of Scotland and
wears the muted Macnaughton tartan. The past year has been a very successful year,
picking up prizes in all the major championship events in Scotland and Ireland.
The band were invited to play at a folklore festival in Confolens in France, (which is
Pitlochry's twin town) last August and played at The Trad Awards in Perth Concert
Hall in December, where all the very best in Scottish and Gaelic music was celebrated.
The band is delighted to be asked back to the Harrogate International Youth Festival
